Bio: I’m an Australian female Visual Artist based in Maribyrnong, originally from Boeill Creek on the rural NSW/VIC border. I’ve been creating art in various forms from a young age but more focally for the last 6 years. My practice is majorly based around painting but also includes a range of other mediums such as ceramics, printmaking, digital design, drawing and I am continually expanding on these.
Artist Statement: This piece depicts a personal photograph of mine from a significant moment with a dear friend. It has been digitally warped and then translated into a painting to mask the original image while leaving hints for the viewer as to the context that lies within. How do you roast your marshmallows?
