Bio: With over 15 years experience, Cax One has taken lessons learned from his own street art practice and applied these skills, styles, and techniques for applications in galleries, workshops, and events across the country. Cax has many accolades and large clients under his belt, including a record opening attendance at Ballarat’s Red Brick Gallery, painting live murals at Falls Festival, and producing work as part of a national campaign for Telstra. Despite boasting a full portfolio of diverse and large-scale events and work, Cax continues to dedicate significant time to mentoring young artists and at-risk youth in both Ballarat and Melbourne.

The evolution of his practice has been documented in a short film by Michelle Dunn which featured on ABC Open, and his works have also gained recognition with features published in ‘Street Art: Australia’ and ‘Inside Street Art’;  chronicling Australia’s most influential street artists.

With unbridled passion, infectious creative energy, and an immense dedication to his craft, Cax is guaranteed to make a considerable impact throughout the Australian art community for years to come.

Artwork Statement: This was a planning artwork/digital illustration for a real life painting. It’s a response to a weird body shaming comment I read on the internet, and the anger I felt about bullying to reinforce generic beauty ideals. This piece is a reminder to myself that beauty in reality comes down to personal taste, not what some attention seeking troll, or anywhere else says. It’s all in the eye (or 10 eyes) of the beholder.
