Bio: Andrew Archer is a visual artist born in Auckland, New Zealand, who now calls Melbourne, Australia his home. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sources, including pop culture, fashion, surrealism, woodblock prints, and his time spent in Asia, Andrew’s work is a vibrant fusion of surreal colours and rhythmic lines that captivate the viewer’s imagination.
Effortlessly blending various visual styles, Andrew’s versatility and unique approach to each project have enabled him to collaborate with an extensive array of clients. For Andrew, no specific medium, colour or tool is ever ruled out in his visual style. In late 2013, Andrew created the Edo—Ball series, a captivating fusion of his passions for Japanese art and basketball. Through this imaginative and immersive world, This ever-growing collection now boasts over 75 artworks, an art book, jerseys, and team wear, reflecting Archer’s unwavering dedication to his craft and his ability to bring his creative visions to life.
