Bio: Alyce is a Melbourne-based creative with a background in architecture and graphic design. A self-taught artist, her works span many mediums and styles from murals and painting to typography and illustration. Her work is often a juxtaposition of beauty and decay; asking the viewer to reinterpret their perceptions of language, culture, and style. Like Rothko, Picasso and Klein before her- her current works display a fondness for the colour blue and it’s rich history of symbolism. Using a singular colour palette allows her to further explore the subtleties of texture, form, and tone.
