Stockland Wendouree Shopping Centre is the Ballarat region’s newest shopping precinct, officially opening the $37 million redevelopment in June 2018..
The centre increased its size by 6,700m2 bringing the total GLA to 27,651m2. A new indoor/outdoor laneway precinct, an expanded Woolworths and two new entries were added as part of the $37 million development.
Just Another was commissioned to create two murals as part of the centre’s redevelopment. One in the new entry way by Melbourne based Conrad Bizjak showcases a range of flora and fauna local to the area, while Perth based Amok Island created a 30 metre mural in the new carpark inspired by Lake Wendouree and the Black Swans that live there.
