Bio: Dan is a Melbourne-based graffiti artist, graphic designer and fine artist. He studied design at RMIT and art at Melbourne’s VCA, and worked as a graphic designer for a decade prior to becoming a full-time artist painting commissioned murals. Dan’s artistic interests began with graffiti in the late nineteen eighties, influenced by the early Melbourne graffiti writers and New York subway writers. His preference is to paint large-scale outdoor murals, so spray paint/rollers/large brushes are his preferred tools. Today he mainly paints Australian flora and fauna in a realistic style for his commissions and exhibitions and still paints graffiti and street art works for fun.
