Resio is the artistic moniker of Melbourne born and bred artist with a focus and passion for painting commercial artworks and private commissions. Predominantly a street based artist who also dabbles in the studio and exhibitions, Resio’s work explores the dynamics of colour and movement through the lens of graffiti’s traditional influence as pure, gestural expression.
In the early stages of his painting career, Resio has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of internationally renowned artists and clients. As his creative journey continues to progress, his portfolio of clients and projects has expanded rapidly. To date, his work has been displayed in solo exhibitions at Backwoods Gallery as well as in the National Gallery of Victoria’s 2023 Architecture commission. His unique and signature talent is showcased through the incorporation of complex compositions, realistic imagery, and masterful letterforms. Weaving multiple influences and styles all together in a one man collaboration sets Resio apart from the rest.
