Title: Divinity

Bio: ‘Juzpop,’ is an Australian artist and muralist based in Melbourne, best known for her feminine portraits, vibrant colours, and dynamic composition. Working in a variety of mediums and scales between her studio-based and public mural practice, her artistic vision is often inspired from friends and individuals that she photographs, as well as the natural beauty of our environment.

With an emphasis on female empowerment, Juzpop uses her work as a device to challenge prevailing design norms, reimagine public space, and reshape perceptions; sparking connection and reflection as she delves into themes of identity and mental health while embracing the interplay between abstract and realism.

Artwork Statement: Divinity is a piece from Juzpop’s 2024 solo exhibition, ‘Morphe‘, which explored the fluidity of identity, personal growth and being on the precipice of profound transformation.
