‘The Art Lamp’ is where light, art, and functionality converge — a lamp that transforms illumination into expression. Designed to be more than just a lamp, it’s a living artwork that evolves with you.

Handcrafted from 3mm plywood and stained with a rich walnut finish, each lamp is built with care and precision for durability and timeless style. The warm glow of a 240V LED USB-powered light is softly diffused through white rice paper, creating a gentle, ambient light that enhances any space. Measuring 25.5cm (H) × 16.5cm (W) × 16.5cm (D), it’s lightweight, compact, and striking in its simplicity.

The real beauty lies in its interchangeable artist panels — four 3mm untreated plywood inserts, each laser-cut and engraved with original Artist designs. These panels, with a visible area of 9 × 16.5cm, can be swapped at any time, allowing you to refresh your lamp with new artwork or adjust its mood to suit the moment.

Every insert has a white rice paper backing to diffuse the light and accentuate detail, casting intricate shadows that bring each design to life. The result is a perfect fusion of art and design — a collectible that illuminates creativity in every sense.

Bio: French-born artist Lucy Lucy, immigrated to Australia in 2006 and currently resides in Melbourne. She has established herself as a prominent figure in the Australian urban art community, specializing in large-scale mural painting for over a decade. Her work involves collaborations with city councils, corporate clients as well as community organizations such as Creatives Mullum Mullum Women, St Vincent Care, McAuley Women both in Australia and Europe. Lucy Lucy’s practice has also extended to creating digital and physical artworks for brands such as Nike, Dr. Martens, and Fed Square.

Throughout her creative career, she has engaged in numerous collaborations, including her early involvement with the Awol crew in 2006. This path has led her to explore performance art, weaving, photography, and fashion design, anchoring her work in multiculturalism.

Lucy Lucy is a figurative painter whose art explores the evolving narrative of femininity. She portrays women as symbols of social change, resilience, and reconciliation. Her artwork is characterised by an elegant fusion of colours, textures, and patterns, prompting reflection on a potential alternative narrative that values nurturing and caring.

Artist Statement: This wooden lamp features delicate inserts that I designed to showcase my signature female profile — graceful, confident, and timeless. I wanted the flowing hair to create a playful dance of light and shadow, transforming the piece into a celebration of movement, joy, and femininity.

Warm, organic, and full of life, the design reflects my ongoing exploration of the beauty and strength found in women’s forms and stories. This collaboration with Just Another Agency allowed me to merge art and design in a new way — where light itself becomes a living, breathing expression of creativity.
