Bio: Timba Smits is a curious, multi-disciplinary graphic artist and life-long member of the Daydream Club. His work—often characterised by nostalgia and childhood memories—stretches across both analog and digital mediums and combines a recognisable blend of illustration, typography, satirical humour and pop-cultural references.

Artwork Statement: Fusing my childhood joy of watching Monkey Magic on TV after school and my deep love of mid-century style and illustration—in this case vintage matchbox designs from the early 19th century—I created my very own MONKEY MAGIC MATCHES parody product. Because that\s the way my brain works.
