Bio: ILWON is a multidisciplinary artist who’s works can be found typically on the streets of Melbourne. Originating from a self taught illustrative background, he has developed and explored new ways of expressing and developing a distinguishable “style” within the Graffiti and street art culture that stretches over a decade. IL is always looking to challenge and push his creative expression outside of the “norm” and has shifted his focus towards a studio practice to explore a more considered and finer approach towards his artworks. Through the use of mixed mediums and techniques, he works to achieve a balance of finesse and grit within his conceptual pieces to try capture emotion in its simplest representation.
